In June 1998 a Museum and Education Center of the National Park of Wielkopolska was created in Jeziory. The Center is comprised of the following elements:

    • The Museum of Nature,
    • multimedia room,
    • a classroom for classes of the "Forest School",
    • four educational tracks,

The education program used by the Center has been developed by a group of employees from the Education Division. The lessons provided there take the age of pupils into account and usually take four hours a day. This time can be used for the following activities:

    • visiting the Museum of Nature,
    • taking a walk along the educational track of the Park,
    • participating in seminars about nature
    • taking part in competitions in arts and crafts,
    • watching movies about nature
    • listening to lectures or presentations.

The main role of the Center is the preparation and provision of classes discussing environmental protection. The program is addressed mainly to primary school pupils, but the Center also works with young people from secondary schools. Each year university students majoring in natural sciences and teaching use the Center's facilities to practice teaching. Various scientific symposia, seminars, lectures etc. can also take place in the Center, as the multimedia room is equipped with high-quality audiovisual devices and can host up to 100 guests. Furthermore, a conference room with audio equipment for 70 people is at the guests' disposal.
The Directors of the National Park of Wielkopolska invite everybody who may be interested in our offer and wish you a pleasant and well-spent time in the beautiful surroundings of our Park's nature.
